  • Citizenship

Be Prompt:  In your seat when the bell rings, ready to work.

Cell Phone:  Keep in backpack.  If I see without permision - you will be asked to put on my desk - discipline report if too many times.

Be Prepared:  Ready to learn with all needed materials.

Be Polite:  And considerate to those around you – especially your teacher(s).

Complete : assignments or finish for HW

  • Google Classroom

It is YOUR responsibility to check Google Classroom DAILY and complete assignments on time.  Ask if you need help

This is also where you can find Lesson Notes (especially if absent) - you will have a packet for each Unit of notes to fill in.

  • Recommended Supplies

Math Folder :  I will give you with hard copies of notes. Also for handouts and returned work.

 

Scientific Calculator, pencils, highlighters, colored pens, pencil sharpener

  • TESTS AND QUIZZES AND GRADED ASSIGNMENTS

You will receive a test or a quiz, on the average, once a week.  All tests will be announced, however quizzes may be given at any time, with or without notice.

Retakes will only be given if they are not open notes. or at teacher discretion.  All pre-requisite work must be complete.  This must be done within two weeks of the original test.

 Tests are usually out of 100 points and quizzes out of 50 points. 

*Khan Academy assignments can be re-done for a better grade too.  If after the due date - Student must show me in class or screen shot and email me and I will adjust the grade as soon as I am able to.

**All graded work must be completed within 2 weeks of the due date or it may not be accepted**

  • ASSIGNMENTS

All assignments are to be completed in pencil, all work shown and headed with your name, date, assignment and period.  Follow directions.

Assignments are to be handed in on the due date.  Late work will be updated in the gradebook at teacher convenience.

Homework that we go over in class will not be accepted late.  It is your responsibility to show me work that was due when you were absent.

  • ABSENCES

You have one day for each day absent to make up the work.  It is your responsibility to make up all missing assignments and get the notes you missed.  I suggest having a study buddy.  ALWAYS CHECK GOOGLE CLASSROOM.

If you are absent for a test or a quiz, you are expected to come during lunch to make it up (ask teacher).  If you miss a quiz or test you will be given it on the day you return - that is so I can return students tests in a timely manner.
