Class Participation, Classwork and Homework: It is important to be active in your education. Participation in class is essential. Don’t worry about making mistakes. We all make them, including me; as you will see. I don’t mind questions. I would rather explain things again right away than wait until test day when things are far worse. Homework assignments are due the next day. Any assignments turned in late will receive 75%. Assignments that are more than 3 days late will not be accepted.
Resources/Study Aids are available on google classroom.
It is your responsibility to get any material that may have been missed due to absence.
Tests and Quizzes: Tests or quizzes are graded by the number correct out of the total possible points. Material is sectioned so that similar problems are kept together, and generally go from easier to more difficult material.
Grades: MP 1 and 3: 20% CW/HW MP 2: 10% CW/HW MP 4: 10% CW/HW

CP - Study Guides can be used on Tests only.
Honors - No notes or guides.
Reassessments:

You can retake Any Test. There are no retakes for quizzes.

You must retake the Entire test within 10 days of the original test date.

Second Grade Stands

Tests that score below 30% of average = No Retake.

Missing Assignments = No Retake
Extra Help and Make Up Work: You are responsible for seeking help and making up missed tests or quizzes. You can see me Monday, Wednesday, Thursday until 2:20. Just make sure that I know you are coming. If you need to stay longer, talk to me about making other arrangements.
When absent: Assignments are to be turned in the next day. Tests or quizzes must be made up by the next week. Any assessment not completed in that time will remain a zero.
