Dear Parents,

No one knows your child better than you do. As a parent, your perception of my student will be very

valuable resource. The more I understand about your child the more effective I can be as your child

ELA teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

I would appreciate your participation in any homework or extra assignment I may give.

In the next few weeks, I am hoping to learn all about your child. If you feel I should

know something special about your child please let me know. Please feel free to share your child’s.

special abilities, fears, strengths and weaknesses, and past school experiences. You might also want to

share with me your expectations of me, your child and the school. Include any past information you

want me to remember while I work in small groups and whole class discussions with your child.
