My name is Ms. Viola Carter. I proudly announce that I am your child's second grade teacher. I possess many years of teaching experience and look forward to a very successful year along with lots of engaging fun activities elevating excellence everyday in all subject areas. I expect students to remain focused daily and try their very best. As a result, students will show academic great gains. My dedication and commitment, along with the hard work of our scholars and your support, as a team, we WILL soar to academic success!
A homework folder is sent home daily along with school forms and handouts. Please check your childs book bag daily and return it each day with completed assignments. Homework is assigned Monday-Thursday. When progress reports are distributed, a test folder is sent home that includes assessments and student work. We can meet to discuss any concerns regarding grades during my planning time.
