CKLA Unit 1 Lessons 4-8

Students will:

• Identify and count environmental sounds and identify if they are the same or different.
• Demonstrate an understanding of directionality and establish bodily and spatial awareness.
• Practice hold a pencil or crayon with a tripod (or pincer) grip to draw vertical lines, horizontal lines, diagonal lines and circles.
• Students will use spatial words while practicing writing strokes in the air and on paper.

Knowledge Domain 1 Lessons 4-8

*Nursey Rhymes and Fables*

Students will need to choose, practice and memorize one of the enclosed nursery rhymes (see attached).  Students will individually recite their poem on Tuesday 9/6 for a grade.  Scoring sheet is attached as well.

Eureka Math Module 1 Lessons 1-5

Students will:

• Compare, count and sort objects pattern, size or use.
• Students will take a quiz on topic A this week.

Studies Weekly

Weeks 3  Rules and Responsibilities

Students will discuss and learn about the importance of rules and what it means to be responsible.
