Discipline Plan: We will be using PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) this year. Students will be actively acknowledged and rewarded for following class and school rules. If a student breaks a class or school rule, he/she will be given the opportunity to reflect and correct the mistake. Written reflections, called “Think Times” will be sent to parents on Class Dojo. Any student who continues to break rules will be given extra behavioral support.
Grades: Parents can check JCAMPUS weekly to keep up with your child’s progress. Weekly progress reports will be sent home on Mondays for each subject.
Homework: Students will be given a weekly homework sheet to keep in his/her green communication folder. Homework is an opportunity for extra practice to help your child master the standards being taught. It is also an opportunity for you to see what we are learning in the classroom.
