I have been proudly teaching 5th grade ELA at AMS since August of 2008. I graduated from Southeastern in December of 2006 in Elementary Education. I taught 2nd grade at Springfield Elementary for one semester and then moved to Albany Upper to teach 4th grade math, science, and social studies. I then came to Albany Middle, which has been my home ever since! I love teaching and interacting with my students on a daily basis! I truly consider it a privilege to be a part their education. Every year, I learn more about my curriculum to be the most effective teacher possible. My main goal as a teacher is to help all my students experience success in some aspect of ELA. Small successes in the classroom will lead to a successful life!
