All About Mrs. Tyler
My name is Lindsay Tyler and this school year will be my fifteenth-year teaching. I started my teaching career teaching here at Shelton in 2007. I spent nine years teaching fourth grade and this will be my sixth year as a fifth-grade teacher.
I was born in Philadelphia, PA and that is where I call “home.” I have also lived in Pittsburgh, PA and upstate New York. I earned my BA in Childhood Education from SUNY Potsdam and my MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Scranton University.
I have been married for sixteen years. My husband was a “military brat” and then served in the Army. He now works in electronics as a civilian. We have a two year old named Emmy who keeps us very busy! We have two Boston Terriers (Daisy and Lola) and two cats (Eddie and Einstein). We love to travel in our spare time. We enjoy exploring historical sites and visiting new cities!
