Mrs. Carney from A to Z

A- Always willing to help.  I want my students to do their best, so ask for help if you need it!
B- Believes in her students. I know that every student is able to learn, and that we all have different ways of learning.  Never give up!
C- Cares about our class.  Rule number 1 is "We are a Family".   Please let me know what is going on in your life. All of the good and bad events can effect how you learn.  
D- Doesn't like to hear people whine! Don't do it. 
E- Excited about all of the cool things we will do in Second Grade! 
F- Thinks learning should be FUN! You may not see a lot of worksheets coming home, but hopefully, your child will come home excited about memorable and fun experiences they have in school each day.  
G- Going hiking is one of my favorite activities to do with my family, I love to explore and find waterfalls and caves all over Georgia
H- Hazel is my sweet puppy.  She gets in lots of trouble, but she is so cute and snuggly that I have to forgive her every time.

I- Ice cream and frozen yogurt are some of my favorite treats. 
J- Has two kids named Josh and Jayda. 
K- Kayaking is one of my newest hobbies.  I think life is about learning new things all the time.  So last summer, I decided to learn to paddle a kayak in the white water rapids of the the Chattooga River.  I am still working on getting my roll down.  
L- Loves Learning!  Rule number 2 is "We come to school to Learn!"
M- Mrs. Wolf is my mom!  We call her Mimi at my house, and we all love her.  The kids will probably meet her because she helps me out in class when she can, and she substitutes here at Shelton.  
N- Enjoys Nature.  I care very much about the environment, animals, and our impact on the world we live in.  
O-
P- Peanut Butter!!!
Q- Questions are welcome in my classroom! Really!  If you are not sure, or if  you just want more information, I am happy to help! 
R- Reading, riding bikes, running, relaxing near water, remembering special moments...

S- My husband's name is Scott. He is into sports and science, and me.  :)

T- Traveling is another one of my favorite hobbies.  I love the adventure of seeing new places and things all over the world.

W- White Chocolate Mocha Frappacino Cream (Cream based... NO coffee for me) or White Hot Chocolate from Starbucks will make me smile any time any day.
X-
Y- Yogurt... yum... Yogli-Mogli, Frozen or greek vanilla bean yogurt with frozen blackberries and granola... 
Z- Zoo in the room!!!  Our current pets are a Bearded Dragon named Beast, and a Red-eared Slider Turtle named Tuckerbelle.  However, you will see that we will welcome several other animals throughout the year.
