Class participation is the most important criteria for grades in music. Students are encouraged to ask questions, express opinions, and get involved in classroom activities.
Students will also be evaluated on their ability to sing solo and in ensemble. In addition, students are expected to come to music class with all necessary materials;

3rd Recorders and folders
4-6th Folders and notebooks
Completion of class assignments is also very important. Ample time will be given to complete assignments in class. It is expected that unfinished work will be completed for homework. Evaluation by tests, quizzes, written and oral responses are at the discretion of the teacher.
