My name is Andrea Fenstermaker, and I am your child's first grade teacher. I have been teaching first grade at Kennesaw Elementary since 1999 and have 26 years of total teaching experience in  Cobb County. My children also attended Kennesaw Elementary, so I feel like it is my home. I hope you will feel that way, too! 
I attended Virginia Tech for two years then transferred to Oglethorpe University where I earned a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. However, I am a Hokie at heart! I later earned my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University.  I have been married for 37 years, and I have three grown children. My youngest daughter is a Physician Assistant at North Atlanta Primary Care, my older daughter works as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Tennessee,  and my son is a cyber security analyst living in Chicago. One of our family goals is to provide our children with a solid educational foundation which will help them find a career that is not just a job but a passion. I'm excited to help your child begin that path as well. Teaching is my passion, and I'm happy to share it with you!
