*  Our After School Programs will be up and running September 23,2013. They are held Monday - Friday from 2:45-6:00 pm. The after school prodrams will run from 2:45 - 4:00 pm for the first week of September 2013. Many subject related activities are available for students to participate in and enhance their academic educational skills.

First Major Project

The Pond and Fountain area is under a complete enhancement.
The carpentry club members are restoring the wood constructed pond, designing and building various size benches for several plants to be placed onto and around the pond. The club members are also designing wood posts that will rope off the area around the pond and fountain. Plus much more.


“Financial District”
    This program is based on carpentry and the intricacies of building a scaled student designed financial district similar to downtown Jersey City and Lower Manhattan. The district will feature three distinctive levels. The above ground level will reveal several illuminated high-rise, mid-rise, and low-rise buildings, three bridges, a waterway, a two tiered mountain, roads, street lights, side walk, working steam locomotive, freight cars and a working diesel locomotive, passenger cars, and utility polls. The second level explains the infrastructure where a balance of steam lines, water pipes and electrical lines snake there way through the district allowing service to all of the buildings above ground and service / utilities below ground. The lower level shows the transit system. There you will see the construction of a tunnel and tracks for the commuter train system. There is also a full scale architectural blue print of the above ground placement of buildings and road design. A student designed artistic rendition of the bridge being built is on display. Other student artist renditions available are early “pre-construction” days of the land the financial district is built on, illustrations of the tunnel and transit system, and the mountain with roads. This project also includes the components of commercial real estate laws, accounting, marketing, history and science of area, plus much more to list.
