This is my 9th year to be teaching at NCE and my 22nd year of teaching total. I am really excited about this new school year!
I have lived in Walker my entire life and attended school in Walker. After graduating from Walker High, I attended Southeastern and received my Bachelor's degree in 1997. While teaching at Westside Jr. High, I decided to enroll in graduate school. I graduated in 2006 with my Master's degree.
I am married and have 3 children--all boys! Lane is almost 19 and will begin Southeastern Louisiana University this semester. He is very involved in baseball and will be playing for Southeastern. Garrett is 15 and is in the 9th grade at Walker Freshman High. He LOVES the outdoors and enjoys working! He loves to hunt and fish, and he has plans to be a member of the WHS fishing team. I know this sounds odd, but he really enjoys trimming limbs, weedeating, painting, and anything else that involves work. Last but certainly not least, is Kade. He will be 11 on New Year's Eve and is in 5th grade at NCE this year (I can't believe this is his last year in elementary school!) All I can say is that he has a great personality and is definitely spoiled rotten!! (Actually, all 3 of them are :)
I love spending time with my family!! I stay very busy, but of course--I wouldn't have it any other way!!
