I use the Louisiana/Livingston Parish School Board grading policy.

Grades

90-100	A
80-89	B
70-79	C
60-69	D
0-59	F

 

GRADE WEIGHTING:   In 2015 Livingston Parish requires all teachers to weigh their grades.  I will use the adopted Livingston Parish grade weighting system.  Students will get 2 grades per week in all classes.

 

Below is the Livingston Parish weighted grading system.   

 

Major Assessments -40%
Assessed for Accuracy (Quizzes and Projects) -35% 

Participation/Completion -10% 

End of Semester Assessment -15%

 

 

ABSENT: If you are absent, ask Mr. Ledoux what you missed in class to make up the missed assignments.  You are responsible for the work you missed when you are absent. 

 

CLASS:  Always a positive experience.  Do NOT come to class without your ID on your collar. 

 

HOMEWORK:  Any work not completed in class will be given for homework. Each student is responsible for completing their unfinished classwork for homework.

 

Cut off Dates:  If you have a zero, you have to complete the assignment/test by the following interim dates or you will keep the zero.
