Mrs. Navarre's Seusstastic First Graders!

 

                          

 

Reading-  We will continue  Module 4 on "Cinderella Stories." We will identify and describe the central message of "Adelita" We will compare and contrast the experiences of characters in the different versions.  

 

Spelling-  We will have Week 31  Spelling words this week. We will work on review words. These words will be tested on Friday. 

 

English- We will use personal pronouns to replace nouns, and revise simple sentences to make them compound sentences using conjunctions and commas. We will write an opinion paragraph using an opinion statement, reasons, and an opinion conclusion. 

 

Math- We will review graphing as we use data to create tally charts.  

 

Science- We will continue our unit on Animals and Plants.  We will identify inherited and behavioral traits animals inherit or learn from their parents.    

Important Reminders: Please initial your child's behavior chart in the Seuss Binder daily. Homework packet is due on Friday.
