Hi.  My name is Mrs. Caridad Garciga.  I am a graduate of Rutgers University where I received a BA in Sociology with a Concentration in Elementary Education.  I began my teaching career in Newark where I taught Fourth Grade for three years.  I then decided I needed a change and really wanted to be close to home.  Thats when I came to West New York where I began at #5 School teaching 5th and 6th grade Math.  I was there for one year and was then transferred to the MIddle School for its opening year where I teach  8th grade Math today.  I have really enjoyed my time here and love working with the MIddle School age group.   SInce then, I have received a Masters in Counseling and a Supervisory certificate from NJ City University. 
    It has been a great pleasure and honor to work here in West New York and it has been very rewarding for me!  I love what I do!
