Each year brings a wealth of new students and opportunities, yet the objective is the same: Give students a strong intellectual understanding and love of reading, writing, and listening to a diverse range of musical genres.
Classroom Activities
Grade 7: Students are exploring the musical masters through the eras in which they lived.
Reading, listening and singing skills are being enhanced through various activities
in the classroom.
Grade 8: Students are learning basic piano keyboard skills as well as becoming familiar
with broadway showtunes through singing and reading music!
7th Grade Choir
Rehearsal are as follows: Mon. Wednes. and Friday (as needed) 7:40am -8:10 am

Grading Policy
Class Participation = 40% of the final grade
Test = 30% of the final grade
Quiz = 20% of the final grade
Preparation = 10% of the final grade
All music lessons are taught cross-curricular
