This is a strategy we use to help students answer PCR (Prose Constructed Response) questions. These answers are written responses that should be written in paragraph form.

 

Reword the question.

Answer all parts of the question.

Cite text evidence using at least one direct quote

that supports your answer.

Explain your evidence and how it supports

your answer. 

 

*Check grammar, spelling, sentence structure,

and make sure your answer is written in  a logical sequence.
