Welcome 5th graders! 

 

Hello! My name is Marie Carollo, and I have been teaching for over 20 years, most of which has been in the Albany school system. 

I am married to Tracy Carollo, and we have two wonderful children, Tyler 25 and Traci 22. 

 

A little about 5th grade ELA

5th grade ELA is a two hour block that is geared toward comprehending grade level and complex texts and completing various written expression assignments based on those texts.

Student grades consist of tests, quizzes, essays, classwork, and participation.  

The daily skill is written on the board for students to copy in their planners so that you will know what we are working on each day in class.
