Grading Policy-A 100-93, B 92-85, C 84-75, D 74-67, F 66 and below.
Attendance Policy-Should you have excessive unexcused absences-12 or more- at the end of the year, you will fail due to those absences. Be sure to inform Mrs. Yates about the reasons for your absences in a timely manner.
Spanish Activities-For Spanish class, you must maintain Spanish activities. You must keep your activities in order. Most days, we will write activities on loose-leaf. Most weeks, I will check activities for participation checks. Everything must be completely hand written on loose-leaf and in order to obtain any credit. If you are missing any parts of your activities, a zero will be recorded until you finish everything. Should you miss class, it is your responsibility to turn in to me what you missed. You can check for missed activities on powerschool. Activities will be worth 100 points per participation check.
Tests-We will have a weekly test. Each weekly test will be worth 200 points. The final exam is separate and absolutely comprehensive.
Projects-If we have any projects, details will be forthcoming.
Make-up Policy-Students are required to make-up their tests/any other work within 5 days of returning to class, or you will obtain a zero. Should you miss a test for any excused reason, it will be made available to you during CORE. I will work with you, but these make-ups are your responsibilities! You need to use POWERSCHOOL in order to find out which tests you are missing. You must sign up with me for CORE in order for me to get your test ready for you. If you miss the CORE date that you signed up for, your zero will be permanent.
