Course Description:
This course focuses on helping students to gain a better understanding of laws, as they apply to various situations. Being knowledgeable about business and personal laws helps to develop student awareness as informed citizens of the country and the world of business.

Make up Work:
Students with an excused absence have 5 days to make up a test. Students with an unexcused absence have 3 days to make up a test. All makeup tests are given before school, during lunch, or immediately after school. Makeup tests will be different from regular tests. It is the student's responsibility to schedule the makeup test with me.
Class Expectations:
Come to class on time
Sit in your assigned seat
Promptly begin your bellringer
Do not get up from your seat without permission
Do not take out your cell phone
Do not line up at the door waiting for the bell to ring
No eating or drinking in class
Be prepared to work
***Disrespect towards other students or teacher, as well as students who do not come to school ready to work, will not be tolerated and will result in appropriate disciplinary action.

Grades will be based on bellringers, tests, classwork, and assigned homework.
