Parents and students welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year! Whether you are an EVA student , a distance learner, or a student who is face to face, we are still ready to educate you! Even though COVID-19 is ever-present, Evangeline Parish School Board is doing everything in their power to ensure the safety and well-being of your child as they learn day-to-day.
As your student's Resource Teacher, I intend to take them from their present performing level to their present grade level. Even though your student may have an exceptionality, they can still learn. They may not be like others learn, but with their accommodations given; we should be able to see some progress.
I know we are in a pandemic, but the learning process still must continue. Although remote learning is challenging, it is still possible. Through Google Classroom, Google Meet, or Zoom meetings, we are still educating your children. Teachers, parents, and students are all learning together. We are all learning more about technology. Let's be patient with one another and help one another get through this "New Normal". Any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the school and get assistance.
