In Math 180, our goal is to develop a Growth Mindset. With this mindset, students will take on challenges, never give up, learn from their mistakes, ask questions (as needed), and learn from the success of others. With this mindset, students will have the opportunity to demonstrate proficiency or higher in their grade levels on the Math Inventory Assessment.

Students will be administered a Math Inventory Assessment, which determines the students’ performance level (See the pdf below for the link to the performance bands based on grade level); a Mindset Scan, which determines the type of mindset (Growth or Fixed); and a Baseline Scan, which determines where students will begin in the Math 180 software.

With the Math 180 program, students will use software and workbooks will be available.

The software allows students to work at their own pace on material and move on to 

more advanced material when they are ready. The workbooks will remain in the classroom, and students will have access to them, when needed

It is my goal to help your child Level UP! in math and to be responsible and productive.

Students will also work on Mobymax, and other math activities and lessons that will assist in maintaining their Growth Mindset, math skills, proficiency levels on the Math Inventory Assessment.
