Welcome Parents!

Hello CES Family,

I want to start off by saying how much I miss and love all of you! I hope you and your family are well and in good health. You are all in my daily thoughts and prayers.

The CES is staff committed to providing continuity in learning for our students during the extended school closure caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. While we know that these learning activities will never replicate the learning that goes on in the classroom, we hope that continuing education for students during this time will help provide structure and normalcy during this unusual and trying time.

Teachers will post lessons on their website each week and will also have their office hours posted as times they will answer questions or provide support with learning at home. Each student will have daily Reading and Math suggested lessons and 4th and 5th graders may have a Science or Social Studies lesson as well. In addition to the content lessons ALL students should spend approximately 20 minutes free reading, and devote at least one hour of physical activity / exercise. Students/parents are encouraged to reach out to their respective teachers during their office hours via Remind or email with questions about the daily school work. These lessons will not be for any grades or credit; they are just a resource to help continue the learning at home while we are out of school.

I will be available to parents and students as well if you have any questions. I can be reached daily from 9am-10am by email at [email protected] or by phone at 662-807-1779.

Sincerely,

Tiffany Francis
