Grading will be Broken Down into the Following Categories:

 

   Individual Art Project

    1. The student has executed the art project independently.

     2. The project has the following qualities:

         a) If it is an exploration, it is substantive.

        b) The student explains how their work is relevant to the assignment.

         c) Directions are followed regarding where to place one's name.

         d) It shows care, and is complete, or very close to completion.

         e) The work is relevant to the topic at hand.

         f) The work reflects age-appropriate ability, (go to links on webpage). 

    Assessment

        The student needs to demonstrate their understanding of content, in a manner designated, or approved, by the teacher. 

   Group Art Project

     Each student receives two grades: a group grade and an assessment grade.

   Discussion

     1. Share and Listen

      2. Allow all others to do the same

   Cooperation

      1. Introduce no obstacles that impede the class from learning

      2. Help Clean-Up
