Welcome to Mary J. Donohoe Music!

I'm Mrs. Fenimore and I teach vocal, instrumental, and general music classes.  I earned my Bachelor of Music degree at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.  I've been in the Bayonne school district for 18 years.

In music class, we learn to appreciate, listen to, and read music.  Lower grades explore their voices and learn the instruments of the orchestra.  Middle grades learn about how to read music notation and perform on recorder, piano, and music tubes.  Upper grades learn about music history and appreciation.

OCTOBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH!  Esmerelda Torres in the 3rd grade!  Esmerelda is a great music listener, and I love the thoughtful questions she asks.

ALL instrumental students should be practicing their instruments every day. Beginners have their practice assignments written down in their folders.
