Welcome to my homepage.  I am currently teaching 6th, and 7th grade Social Studies.   I also coach Junior High football, basketball, and  track.  I have a B.S, in Special Education, from The University of Louisiana, and I am certified in Social Studies Education from 5-12. This will be my 19th year of teaching, and my 18th at Basile High School. 

   

    I  have an energetic, student involved classroom , where we focus on academic and functional skills.  Our classroom environment is a unique one, where students are encouraged to have fun by participating in class discussions, and learn academic and social skills.
