At Broad Street School-Students are graded using O, S and U. This is calculated by classwork. Classwork consists of worksheets, quizzes and oral and listening assessments.

O is for outstanding.  Students who receive an O consistently perform, complete their work correctly and have no issues staying on task. These students go above and beyond what is expected and constantly perform at a level of excellence.

S is for satisfactory.  Students who receive an S are performing at grade level. They participate when called on and do what is expected.

U is for unsatisfactory.  Students who receive a U are not performing at grade level and rarely if ever participate. Students who receive a U may also have issues staying on task or frequently come to class unprepared or may not complete their assignments.
