-
General - Active participation and successful completion of assigned work is mandatory in order to receive credit for this class. Assigned work includes but is not limited to bellringers, classwork, homework, activities, lab work, quizzes, and exams (weekly, nine-weeks, semester, and final exams.)
-
Attendance - It is the STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN MISSED WORK. An absence does not excuse a student from the responsibility of completing assignments or tests. Any work not completed due to excused absences will result in a zero.
-
Make up work -After each absence from school, it is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements to do makeup work missed during the absence with his/her teacher, following his/her return. All makeup work will be completed within the same number of school days the student misses from school.
-
Bellringers - Each student is required to answer bellringer questions at the beginning of class. The bellringer grade will contribute to the overall nine-weeks grade. Bellringers are graded at least once per nine weeks and are worth a minimum of 100 points.
-
Classwork/Homework - Always do your best on any assignments (substitute work included) and be prepared for classwork and/or homework to be checked and/or graded for correctness and completeness.
