Check-out and Overdue Policy
Carver Elementary Library
2013-2014
Library Classes: Students will visit the library weekly with their class. They will be allowed to check out and check in books during this time. Students may check out one book.
Check out Period: Books are checked out for one week at a time.
Renewal: If a student hasn’t finish reading a book, they may renew the book once.
Overdue books: An overdue notice to parents will be sent home with sign & returns papers, for books that are past due or lost.
Damage books: Please returns the damage book to the librarian. She will examine the book to determine if it can be repaired or replace. An appropriate fine will be assessed.
Lost books: Books that are past due in the previous
Six weeks will be considerate lost. To clear up a lost book, students must return, replace, or pay for the book.
