In our class, we move our clips for conduct. First, every child begins on green (ready to learn). If the student makes a bad choice by breaking a rule, they receive a verbal warning.
2nd The next time the student breaks the rule: he/she must move their clip down to yellow (think about it) box.
3rd The third bad choice results in the student moving their clip to the orange (make better choices) and also results in a loss of 5 min. of recess time.
4th The fourth clip move is to red: which is a loss of the full recess time for the day or free center play (indoor recess).
***With good choices the clip may be moved back up***
Rewards
Daily reward: No more than 1 clip move and the student receives a stamp on his/her hand
Weekly reward: No more than 5 clip moves for the week, results in a sticker for their sticker book and a trip to the treasure box.
If the child receives no more than 8 clip moves he/she will get a sticker for their sticker book
