HELLO CJH Family!!
THE (Carroll) Junior High is ready to get this year STARTED!! We have our new house system up and running. We still have others to draft in, but we are excited to begin and learn from each other. If you haven't heard about our houses, please talk to Mr. Marshall about where you/your student fits in. I am a proud member of the Creole House.
The library will be different this year as we do not have the Accelerated Reader program. But I am in hopes that we can motivate our students in other ways. CJH library has more new books this year than ever before and I hope students want to find a book that will become their favorite. Parents, PLEASE encourage your children to read at home! Our students need to be reading more than ever before to keep up with all of their grade level subjects. Please talk to your children to let them know you are interested and proud of their efforts to improve reading skills. Our students have weekly library visits with ELA classes - so they should always have a book.
The library is open mornings from 7:15 - 7:25 and on first lunch shift daily.
BullPup Belles are off to a fabulous start. They brought home trophies and ribbons from camp to show how hard they worked. We are looking forward to seeing them shine all football season. Please make plans to support all of our athletes by attending the games and cheering them on.
We are looking forward to another fabulous year with all things improving. Let's remember, there will be great days coming - the choice is yours.
