Students will continue their journey through the i-Ready math curriculum.  In 6th grade there are 7 units. 

Unit 1:  Expressions and Equations with Geometry

Unit 2: Decimals and Fractions

Unit 3:  Ratio Reasoning

Unit 4: Ratio Reasoning with Unit Rates and Percent

Unit 5: Equivalent Expressions and Equations with Variables

Unit 6: Positive and Negative Numbers

Unit 7:  Statistical Thinking

Each Lesson provides 3-5 sessions.  We will complete 1-2 sessions per day.  We will begin each lesson with an "Explore" session.  We will then "Develop" the skill we are learning.  Last, we will "Refine" the skill before taking a quiz after each lesson. 

 

Additional Practice Problems:  Each session offers additional practice.  We will work through these during class as long as time permits.  If we don't finish these problems, I will assign some for homework.  (Green tab pages)  Students will be assigned either some of these problems or Fluency Book problems for homework.

UnStudents will receive a for completing all assignments within a Eureka module

 We are in this together!  We are a team.  As long as students are responsible and do what is assigned, I have no doubt they will be successful!
