It is a pleasure to welcome your child to my class. I am looking forward to working with your child this year and helping them achieve their full potential. It is my hopes that third grade will be a very positive experience for your child. I am excited about the wonderful things we will be learning this year.
Parent/ Teacher Relationship
I believe that a good parent/teacher relationship is necessary for maximum school success. Throughout the year I will communicate with you through notes, phone calls, email, conferences, adgendas and progress reports. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or if a situation requires special attention. You may call me at the school (792-8000), send a note, or email me at ([email protected]). If at any time during the year you wish to have a conference, please send a note or call the school so we can set up a time. I will also be contacting you if I feel a conference is necessary.
In closing, I would like to thank you for your support. Together, we will have a successful year! I would also like to suggest that you save this letter for future reference. I am eager to work with you and your child to ensure a quality education.
