Classroom Supplies:
- 1 inch 3-ring binder (math only)
- 4 labeled dividers (Focus, Classwork/Notes, Homework, Graded Assignments
- Pencil
Absences:
If you are absent for any reason, this includes illness, class trips, band, chorus, etc. it is your responsibility to make up the classwork and homework for that day. If you are aware that you are going to be absent, you are expected to have all missing work with you the day you return. You are expected to come to me to receive work that you will be missing.
If you are unaware that you will be missing class, then you will have one day to make up the work for every one day missed. All assignments will be posted on google classroom. If you are absent on the day of an assigned quiz or test, you will make it up the day you return.
Homework:
Homework will be assigned daily. Nightly homework will be accepted one day after it is assigned for partial credit. Each day a graded assignment is late, it is lowered one point out of 3 total points. Be sure to complete all assignments on time. If there is some confusion or difficulty with the material from the new topic you may have to limit your time spent on that part of the homework, but it is expected that you TRY ALL!
Homework is worth 5% of your grade.
Test/Quizzes/Projects:
All test and quizzes will be announced and written on the board several days before. If you are absent on the day of a test or quiz, be prepared to take it upon your return. If you are absent several days prior to the test/quiz, special arrangements will be made for you to take the quiz or test during class.
Test/Projects is worth 40% of your grade
Quizzes are worth 25% of your grade.

Tests/Projects: 40%
Quizzes: 25%
Homework: 5%
Quarterly Exams: 15%
Math Applications: 15%
