Welcome!  I am looking forward to working with you this year.  It is going to be a great year.  We are all going to work together to make this year very successful.  We need to remember some guidelines that will help to make this year successful for everyone.
  1. Embrace learning opportunities.  Arrive on time each day ready to engage.  Your presence supports a positive learning community.  Let’s explore mathematics together from the moment class begins.
  2. Prepare for Exploration.  Bring your math binder, a pencil and a curious mindset to every class.  These tools help us delve into mathematical ideas right from the start.
  3. Engage in Warm-ups.  Begin each class by diving into the warm-up activity displayed.  This is your chance to connect prior learning with new concepts and to share your mathematical thinking.
  4. Strive for growth.  Approach every task with enthusiasm and a growth mindset.  Your participation in discussions and completion of assignments are opportunities to expand your mathematical understanding and confidence.
Always ask for help if you do not understand something!

  2. Be respectful.  Treat others how you want to be treated.
  3. Must hand in all work on time and complete
  4. All work is your own
