Welcome to Third Grade!
I am super excited to be your child's teacher for the upcoming academic year. I have received my Bachelor's Degree in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education at Syracuse University. Through this program I was given the privilege of working with students across many grade levels during my undergrad. This experience helped me gain understanding of how best to support students with a variety of needs. I am excited to bring that expertise to Truman.
This will be my first year at Truman School, and I am really looking forward to becoming a part of this school community. I will be coteaching with Jennifer Kabara. We will be in the same classroom all day, so we can better support each other, and by extension, our students.
This year, we will embark on a learning journey that will not only promote academic growth but also foster a love for learning and exploration. I believe that education should be engaging, inclusive, positive, and tailored to the unique needs of each student. I am dedicated to creating a classroom environment that builds every child’s individual strengths to help them grow throughout the year.
Please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the year. Open communication and collaboration between home and school are of the utmost importance to me, as it ensures that we are working together to provide the best education for your child.
Once again, I am thrilled to be part of your child’s educational journey this year and I look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and exciting discoveries.
