9/3/25 Information and Updates !!!
- Today (9/3/25), students were sent home with their Christ In Us religion books. Please cover these books with contact paper and have them returned to school by latest Monday, September 8th, as we will beginning content instruction next week.
- It was brought to my attention today that Take Home Folders in elementary are the color red. However, I had already labeled all students' blue folders as their take home folders prior to knowing this. With that being said, all 2B students' take home folders are blue. I apologize for the mix up and I hope this is not confusing, thank you!
- Specials have begun today (9/3/25). I have updated our Specials Tab with our specials schedule for the first trimester. We will have gym on Thursdays - all students should come to school on Thursdays wearing their gym uniform.
- Our Teams page has been up and running. Apparently, all accounts from last year have been deleted and you will soon be provided with a temporary log-in so you will be able to access Teams. Please be on the lookout for this!
- Tomorrow, we will be sending home a Mystery Bag with students. Students should put 3 items into the bag that describe who they are as a person (please do not put items in that do not fit into the bag!). Please return the Mystery Bag to school for Friday, September 5th.
- We are still missing a few art smocks from students. We will be having our Art specials beginning Monday, September 8th. Please make sure your child has brought in a name labeled art smock by that date. I can provide a list of names of who is missing theirs by tomorrow afternoon. Thank you!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL REMINDERS:
1. Please label all school supplies including fleeces, backpacks, lunch boxes, snack bags, water bottles, art smock, etc... 2025 2026 School Supply List.pdf
2. The first day of school is an Early Dismissal day and the cafeteria is closed for purchases.
3. Each student should send in a note on the first day of school with details about their dismissal method for the school year. (see dismissal details below)
4. If your child has an allergy or medical condition we should be aware of please send in a note on the first day of school.
5. Please bring in your completed math packet and Cam Jansen summer work on the first day of school. (see link below) Also, please bring in your copy of Flat Stanley: His Original Adventure on the first day of school. 6. Students will be sent home with some of their textbooks to cover with clear contact paper over the first few days of school.

DISMISSAL:
Students should bring in a note with specifics about their dismissal method on the first day of school . If your child is a bus rider, please send in their pass that we will attach to their folder. If they are not taking the bus please write car rider or PM Care. If their schedule varies please try your best to write the known schedule in the note.
Please send in a note with your child if there is a change to their dismissal method. Please call the main office if their dismissal method changes throughout the course of the day. Please do not depend on your child to know their correct dismissal method.
- Car Riders: AAC Pickup: Last names beginning with A-K or Cafeteria Pickup: Last names beginning with L-Z
- Bus: Please send in the bus pass provided by MOESC in addition to a note for me with the days your child will be taking the bus home.
- PM Care: Please send in a note with the days your child will be attending. If your child will not be attending PM Care on their regularly scheduled day please send in a note so I can provide to PM Care with the notice of the change.
SNACK:
Snack will be eaten in the classroom around 9:40 AM. Please send in a small, healthy, peanut and nut free snack and water in a separate and labeled snack bag so it is not confused with their lunch.
LUNCH:
Students may bring lunch from home or preorder from the cafeteria. See the school website and handbook for additional information. Please note that students in 2B will have both snack and lunch on Early Dismissal days.
PICTURE/ART SMOCK:
Please send in a 4x6 photo of your child the first week of school as we will be using the pictures to decorate our room! Additionally, students will need an art smock for their art class. Please send in a smock that is labeled with their name that we will store in our classroom to be used as needed.
EARLY DISMISSAL DAYS:
- On early dismissal days the cafeteria is closed for purchases. Students in 2B should bring in both a small nut free snack and a lunch.
