Dear Families and Students,

 

Welcome to 5th Grade! I am so excited to be your teacher this year. Fifth grade is such an important and exciting year full of growth, discovery, and new opportunities. We will be working together to strengthen our skills, challenge ourselves, and prepare for middle school, all while building a supportive and encouraging classroom community.

 

In our class, we will focus on responsibility, respect, kindness, and teamwork. I believe every student has unique talents and strengths, and I can’t wait to get to know each of you better. Together, we will explore the world of Language Arts, make fun projects, and learn new things everyday!

 

To help us start the year strong, please bring a positive attitude, curiosity, and readiness to learn. Families, I look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s success. Communication is key, so I will keep you updated through emails and classroom announcements. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns—I truly value your involvement.

 

I am excited to meet everyone on Tuesday, September 2nd for the first day of school. I will have all the supplies you will need in the classroom, but if there is anything specific you would like to bring, specifically your own headphones, please feel free to do so! On the first day, please be sure to bring a backpack, a healthy snack, a water bottle, and a lunch (or be prepared to purchase one from the cafeteria). Let’s make this year a fun, meaningful, and successful adventure together!
