Welcome Parents!!
My name is Mrs. Sarenthia Thornton, and I will be your child(ren)'s 4th grade ELA teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is my second year teaching, and my second year here at Jefferson. I have my Bachelor's in Liberal Studies, and currently in iTeach to obtain my certification in Education. I am excited to bring my passion for reading, writing, and helping students grow as confident communicators into the classroom. I believe that every student has a unique voice, and I am committed to creating a postive, inclusive environment for all students who enter into my classroom; I want them to feel supported and inspired to do their very best.
