I'm so excited to teach your child ELA & Social Studies this year.
important information:
ELA Curriculum
We will be using Louisiana Department of Education Guidebooks The stories that we will read this year are
Cajun Folktakes, Because of Winn Dixie, and Louisiana Purchase. The student's handout will not be sent home.
The handouts will stay in the classroom to be sure every students have their materials each day.
Social Studies Curriculum
We will be using Gallopade curriculum. We have 6 units that we will be covering. All materials are through the Gallopade
website. Students will use their chromebooks each day to complete readings and assignments.
other important information:
- Conduct sheets will be sent home weekly
- Concession is held every Friday all money is due the Wednesday before
- Spirit Shirts and jeans may be worn on Fridays
