Hi! My name is Jessica Nutt, and I am SO excited to be your child’s preschool teacher this year. The 2025-2026 school year will be my third year teaching in a public preschool program and my first year teaching here at Tuckerton Elementary School. Before earning my P-3 certification, I had about 13 years of experience working as a paraprofessional in early childhood education.

 

I live in Stafford Township with my husband and our two sons, who are entering middle school and high school this year. When I am not teaching, you can usually find me at their sports practices and games -roller hockey, ice hockey, travel soccer, and flag football keep us busy! Otherwise, I enjoy staying active with outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and kayaking when I can.

 

While this is my first year teaching here, I am not entirely new to the school. I grew up in Tuckerton, spending some of my most formative years right here in this neighborhood and school -TES Class of 1997!

 

I look forward to getting to know our newest Tiny Terrapins as we discover, learn, and grow together each day.
