The Reading G Lab is a targeted intervention classroom designed to support students who may be struggling with reading or who need additional support to meet grade-level expectations. Our goal is to help students strengthen their reading skills in a positive and productive environment.
In the Reading G Lab, we focus on:
- Phonemic awareness and phonics
- Vocabulary development
- Reading fluency
- Comprehension strategies
- Confidence and reading independence
Scholars are typically referred for reading intervention by classroom teachers or support staff based on data, classroom performance, and assessment results. Once identified, scholars join me in small and whole groups for focused, individualized instruction tailored to meet their unique learning needs.
