Classroom Rules and Expectations

 

 

  1. Come to class ready to learn

  2. Be patient and respectful of others

  3. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself

  4. Don’t blurt out! Use the hand signals on the side of the smartboard

  5. Follow appropriate volume levels!

 

Volume Levels: 

  • Level 0: Silence
  • Level 1: Whisper
  • Level 2: Table/Partner Talk
  • Level 3: Outside Voice (outside voice should not be used in the building)

 

Discipline Protocols - per class period each day 

  1. Verbal Warning - student will be given a verbal warning 
  2. Collaborative Meeting - student and teacher will meet to discuss behavior and discuss possible solutions
  3. Home Contact 1 - teacher will send Remind message home, or contact home
  4. Home Contact 2 - student will have to send home a message explaining their behavior on Remind
  5. Referral - student will recieve a write up
