Greetings, Students, Parents....Wildcat Family!  I am very excited to begin the school year off with the great students I will encounter and prayerfully, the lives that will be changed as a result of our encounter with me as your Teacher and you as my Student, Leader, Ambassador, and Future College Student & World Changer. 

 

 

 

As I reflect on how I began this incredible journey in education, I remember the love of my family who believed in the transforming power of education. My paternal grandfather who sent his children to college with limited education, my grandmother, his wife affectionately called "Sweet" who worked beside him to dream of a better life for thier 9 children, and especially my maternal grandmother who I affectionately called "Dossie" who also raised me. They wanted more for me and I eventually believed in better for myself. I use the term "eventually" to express that my philosophy is personal. I believe that not all of our students believe in themselves enough. It takes a VILLAGE to  help them get to where they sometimes do not see themselves. In my classes, we all dream for more, hope for better, and strive for excellence. 

 

 

 

At Wossman, we are winners! We overcome! We don't just Survive; We T.H.R.I.V.E! It is the Wossman Way! We are the home of Scholars, Champions, and Artists! 

 

 

 

As I lead these young minds--all the way from a corporate executive to a classroom teacher who INSPIRES--let's pave the way to a successful school year, and one that promotes growth, ability, and a lifelong love of learning.
