Dear Fourth Graders and Families,

Welcome to fourth grade! I am so excited to meet each and every one of you and begin an amazing school year together. I hope you're enjoying the last days of summer, and I can't wait to hear all about your adventures when school begins.

Fourth grade is an exciting year filled with new opportunities, new challenges, and lots of fun learning. One of the biggest changes is that you'll get to switch classrooms during the day! You'll be in our classroom for reading, writing, fundations, and other activities, and you'll head to Ms. Losch's class for Math, Science, and Social Studies. While it may feel different at first, you'll quickly get the hang of moving between classrooms, and you'll have two teachers cheering you on every step of the way.

This year, we'll read wonderful books, write creative stories, solve challenging problems, explore the world through science and social studies, and make many happy memories together. Most importantly, we'll build a classroom where everyone feels welcome, respected, and encouraged to do their very best.

I am looking forward to getting to know each of you, celebrating your successes, and helping you grow into confident fourth graders. We are going to have a fantastic year together!

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and I'll see you soon!
