1. Discuss the Chapter Opener together and complete Chapter Vocabulary Assignment in Google Classroom.

 

2. Play Review Games together to solidify understanding of vocabulary words. (Jeopardy/Quizlet/Quiziz/Kahoot/Bingo/etc.)

 

3. Take Vocabulary Quiz (True/False, Matching, and Multiple Choice questions only)

 

4. Read Lesson 1 of the chapter and complete the 2 R's (in-text Reading questions and in-text Resource questions) in your online/physical textbook.

 

5. Complete the Lesson 1 Review Questions (R page) in your online/physical textbook.

 

6. The class will go over the answers to the 3 R's for Lesson 1 (Reading, Resource, and Review Questions), the class will also complete the Lesson 1 Quick Check Quiz under the Chapter Resources.

 

7. Students will complete an open book assessment for Lesson 1.

 

8. Read Lesson 2 of the chapter and complete the 2 R's.

 

9. Repeat same sequence of activities/assignments as with lesson 1 up to the Quiz for all remaining Lessons in the Chapter.

 

10. Once we reach the end of the chapter we will have a project or projects assigned to reinforce the lessons learned in the chapter and show mastery of the standards, this will be in lieu of a Chapter Test.
