Welcome parents and students to the 2024-2025 school year! This time I have the unique honor of teaching a Language Arts class to 7th graders. It is a rewarding and challenging task that I hope to fulfill with unwavering commitment.
I am a new teacher, but I have many years of experience working as a paraprofessional in the same classrooms that I now teach in. I am also a graduate of NJCU and reside in our town of West New York. My background is as tropical as the Cuban Palm trees. Spanish is not just a language I speak, I also live it. All that to say that I understand the benefits and challenges that come with being bilingual while trying to master the English language.
My teaching philosophy revolves around working diligently, being insatiably curious, and humble. I believe that every child is a gift and deserves the means to express their uniqueness in the pursuit of excellence. I am looking forward to showing the children from our town the proverbial door to open and walk through on their way to success.
