Welcome, parents and students, to the 2026-2027 school year! This year, I have the unique honor of continuing to teach a Language Arts class to 8th graders. It is a rewarding and challenging task that I hope to fulfill with unwavering commitment.

This is my third year as a Middle School teacher, though I have many years of experience working as a paraprofessional in the same classrooms where I now teach. I am also a graduate of NJCU and reside in our town of West New York. My background is as tropical as the Cuban Palm trees. Spanish is not just a language I speak; I also live it. All that to say that I understand the benefits and challenges that come with being bilingual while trying to master the English language.

My teaching philosophy revolves around working diligently, being insatiably curious, and being humble. I believe that every child is a gift and deserves the means to express their uniqueness in the pursuit of excellence. I am looking forward to showing the children from our town the proverbial door to open and walk through on their way to success.
