Welcome to Mrs. Barry's C2-1 Kindergarten Family!

 

Dear Kindergarten Families,

 

Welcome to kindergarten! My name is Mrs. Barry, and I am so excited to begin this wonderful school year with you and your child. Kindergarten is such a special year filled with growth, discovery, and new friendships. I can't wait to get to know each of my students and help them build a love of learning.

 

This year will be filled with exciting adventures as we learn to read, write, explore numbers, create amazing projects, and discover the world around us. We will celebrate accomplishments, make wonderful memories, and have lots of fun along the way!

 

My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, loved, and excited to come to school each day. Together, we'll build a caring classroom community where kindness, curiosity, and confidence can grow.

 

I am looking forward to partnering with you throughout the year. Your support and communication are so important, and I know that by working together, we can make this a successful and memorable kindergarten experience for your child.

 

Here are a few friendly reminders for the first day of school:

Please bring:

  • School supplies

  • A labeled water bottle

  • A healthy snack

  • A change of clothes labeled with your child's name in a Ziploc bag

 

A few tips to help your child have a great start:

  • Please label your child's backpack, lunchbox, water bottle, and all school supplies.

  • Check your child's folder every evening for important notes, forms, and classroom work.

  • Make sure your child knows how they will be getting home, especially during the first few days of school.

I am available by email throughout the day. If you ever have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am also happy to schedule a phone call or an in-person meeting if needed.
